We understand that our clients are busy professionals, often juggling multiple priorities, like children, demanding work schedules, and rich social lives. When you work with us, you’ll feel relief, joy and pride in having not just a pretty space, but a place to land at the end of a long day.
As much as I love connecting and working with new people, sometimes it just isn’t an instant match made in heaven and that ins’t anyone’s fault! While I do my best to accommodate your needs and 100% support and help you with your business journey, our styles and processes may just not sync up.
If you do love my work/aesthetic but cannot tick some of these boxes, please still get in touch as we might be able to come up with a way to work around them (Like checking out my resource gallery or booking longer in advance) or I may know a designer who would be a perfect fit for the job!

I always knew I loved design. But being a true GRITS (girl raised in the south), I didn’t always know it was an option for me. In fact, I spent a lot of years wearing fly outfits to boring corporate jobs and pursuing other entrepreneurial paths because I thought there was no space in the design world for someone who looked like me.rnrnIt wasn’t until I moved to Washington, DC in 2012 that I started seeing other women of color in the design space. And they weren’t just present–they were killing it. In time, that became the push I needed to shift my focus to interior design.rnrnI hustled hard, working for real estate agencies, staging firms and other design firms, learning everything I could about interior design. And in 2019, God laid it on my heart to take the leap and launch Candice Prather Interiors. Through my work here, I hope to bring equity, representation, and accessibility to homeownership and interior design.
